Drop a pin where you last saw them. Snap a photo or pick one from your camera roll. Add a name and one detail worth knowing — "limps a little", "answers to Biscuit".
Anyone with the app inside a 5 km radius gets a notification. We keep the alert tight on purpose — far enough to matter, close enough that someone might actually see your cat today.
Neighbours tap a sighting on the map with a photo and a confidence level. You see every report on a live map. When you tag the cat as found, everyone helping gets a heads-up.

OWNER REWARD─── SET BY YOU · PAiD BY YOU
People are more likely to keep an eye out when there’s something in it for them. When you file a report, you can attach a reward — a number you choose, in whatever currency makes sense. It shows up right on the card, so anyone who spots your cat knows what’s on offer.
WhereIsMyCat doesn’t touch the money. A reward is a private arrangement between you and the person who brings your cat home. We don’t process payments, hold the funds in escrow, or take a cut. Cash, bank transfer, coffee — whatever the two of you agree on, you handle it directly.

Generate a one-page missing-cat flyer straight from your report — the photo, name, last-seen address, the date, and a QR code that opens the live report on whereismycat.org. Save as PDF, send it to a print shop, or print at home and start taping.
Tip: pubs, cafés, vet clinics, and the bulletin board at the local supermarket are still the highest-yield real-world spots. Bring tape.
Flip the "Also post to Instagram" toggle when you file a report and we cross-post it to @whereismycatorg — a few thousand extra pairs of eyes on your neighbourhood, zero effort on your side.
